Pretty in Pastel

The warmer weather these next few days has got me thinking of spring! Yes, I know it’s still January, but my mind has been in full-on spring mode. Bring on the colors and flowers!

Today I’m sharing a look that’s perfect for warmer weather. Knowing me, I’d wear pastels all year round, but this look just screams spring. SoHo (bordering Greenwich Village) has a row of rainbow houses that are just SO GORGEOUS and give me total Charleston vibes. I’ve never actually been to Charleston and it’s definitely on my bucket list, but for now, these rainbow houses will do. 😉 FYI: they’re on Macdougal and Sullivan between W Houston and Bleeker! Every single house is the definition of #housegoals, but if I had to pick one, this light blue one might just be my favorite.

Here I’m wearing this beautiful lavender wool coat — have you heard that lavender is the new color of the season? Look at me, such a trendsetter. Ha! Just kidding. I paired it with a basic striped shirt and jeans, and wore my leopard flats to give the outfit a little pop. To go along with the pastel theme, I’m carrying my all time favorite pink circle bag.

The Rainbow Houses might be one of my favorite places I’ve discovered in the city so far. I can’t wait to go back in the spring to shoot even more fun outfits. In the meantime, stay warm, friends!
