As a Harry Potter fan, I was so excited to visit the city that inspired so much of the series. So many friends have raved to me about Edinburgh, with one even saying it’s her favorite city in the entire world. After spending a few days exploring, I can confidently say that Edinburgh did not disappoint! With rich history and picturesque landscapes, there are so many hidden gems around every corner. The museum itself is housed in a beautiful building that boasts stunning architecture. It may be my favorite building in all of Edinburgh!

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you won’t want to miss Victoria Street. With its colorful storefronts and curving shape, this cute street is said to have inspired Diagon Alley. Be sure to check out the boutiques along the street for some unique souvenirs.
Calton Hill
