SoHo is pretty much synonymous with fashion — with trendy boutiques, luxury fashion houses, and hipster coffee shops around every corner, you’re bound to feel ~très chic.~
Now that the weather is getting colder, my wardrobe has slowly transitioned into darker and darker colors. In typical New York fashion (no pun intended), this means more and more black. Let’s be real, black makes anything look more sophisticated.
I love this look because it’s sleek and simple yet bold and timeless. The best part is that almost everything I’m wearing has been in my closet for years. Case in point: Loft striped sweater dress? 9 years. Everybody ankle boots? 4 years. I snagged this DVF wool coat from the outlet a few years back for under $100 when the retail price was $1000! Talk about a steal, am I right? I was saving it for when I got a big girl job, and now that I have one, you bet I’ll be wearing this coat all the time. It makes me feel like both a girl boss and a bada$$ New Yorker, and there is nothing wrong with that. 😉
Can you believe it’s almost Thanksgiving? Do you have any fun plans?
